Tom Langley started the 8 handed Final Table as Chipleader, less than 100k ahead of Andrew Hulme and it doesn't come as a surprise that those two also ended up in Heads-Up play for the title. The Final Table started with a bang though, after Langley 6bet shoved K♥ K♠ into the A♦ A♥ of Simon Deadman (2 Mio Chips). Dan Morgan folded Pocket Queens and the K♣ on the Flop ensured a knock-out and increased the Chiplead for Langley significantly.
Nick Dhondt started the Final Table as one of the two short stacks and he has just been eliminated by Andrew Hulme. The action is folded to Hulme in the Cutioff and he min-raises to 80k, Julian Herold on the Button as well as Dan Morgan in the Small Blind get out of the way but Dhondt shoves all-in and gets snap called. His A♠ Q♣ did not stand a chance against A♥ K♦ and he was sent to the rail in 7th place for £4,040.
Next to follow was Chaz Chattha after Julian Herold raised to 80k from UTG+1 and the action folds to Chipleader Tom Langley, who reraised to 170k from the Button. Chaz took his time and checked both hole cards again carefully before announcing all in from the Big Blind for 580k in Chips. The 770 Pro immediately mucks his cards and Langley asked for a Chip Count and made the call after 1 minute of consideration with Q♦ 9♦. He was behind preflop versus A♣ K♣ but the Flop 6♦ 5♦ Q♠ was already big trouble and the K♦ saw Chattha drawing dead.
The next elimination though was on behalf of 770 Pro Julian Herold after he minraised from UTG at Blinds 25,000-50,000 / Ante 5,000 close to the end of level 24. Button, Small Blind as well as the Big Blind call to see a 4way Flop K♥ 9♠ 4♣ and the action gets checked to the 770 Pro, who makes the cbet for 175k and this time only Sarbjit Kular in the Small Blind calls. On the Turn 8♥, Kular donkbets 175k and the German raises to 375k, before his opponent announces all-in for about 1 Mio in Chips. Julian proceeds and flips over 8♣ 9♣ for two pair and Kular has K♦ 3♦ for top pair. The River blanks and we are down to 4 players, only 1 hand later all remaining players went on a short break and Julian was 2nd with 5 Mio in Chips.
Prior to his elimination hand Julian Herold was tempted to call a river shove for his tournament life with 2.8 Mio behind on a Board 6♠ A♣ 8♥ 4♣ 6♥ against Tom Langley and it would have been a sick one with King high. Soon after he would have to fear even more though towards the end of level 25 at Blinds 30,000-60,000 / Ante 5,000 and minraised from the Button. Short stack Dan Morgan went all-in for about 1.4 Mio in Chips with A♠ 2♠ and Chipleader Tom Langley called the shove. The action gets back to Julian and he goes all-in himself for about 3 Mio in Chips with A♦ K♠ and Langley makes the call with 10♣ 10♠. The Board 5♠ 8♠ 3♦ 2♥ 5♥ sends two players to the rail and Langley started the Heads-Up with a 12 Mio vs 5 Mio lead.
It should take more than one level before all Chips went in the middle preflop with Andrew Hulme at risk of elimination, he was ahead though with A♦ J♠ against the K♥ 9♥ of Tom Langley and the Flop 8♣ 5♥ 10♥ was already a huge sweat. The 9♦ on the Turn and the K♠ on the River completed two pair for Chipleader Tom Langley and it was all over. For his second place finish, Andrew Hulme takes home £21,070 and Tom Langley gets the tophy and £35,770.

Preflop, all Chips went in the middle with Andrew Hulme at risk of elimination, he was ahead though with A♦ J♠ against the K♥ 9♥ of Tom Langley and the Flop was already a huge sweat. The Heads-Up between the two does not come as a surprise, because they were only separated by less than 100k at the top of the Chip Count when the Final Table started.
